Do you like this change?
Yeah, I tried gamehag after we lost Tremor Games, but kind of hated it... I wish Tremor would come back so bad...

I provided examples of other, more legit sites, also doing heavy decisions. While gamehag is greedy, I got something out of it with just daily click, there were worse ones out there, now it joined them.

There's greed of multi account on any site. Steamgifts have it, despite cg's best efforts to stop botters/scripters and multi accounts, chrono.gg had it and knew it for a long time. Yet that didn't stop them from going on until the quarantine happened. I'm just stating the obvious conclusion.

gamehag is making changes because kanye announced he is running for president, they happened at the same time so that must be the obvious conclusion

I'd say it's more believable that a quarantine affects businesses, than people making changes in fear of kanye announcing for president. But thank you for sarcastiscally pointing my mistake, these are indeed guesses, the best we can do.

Quarantine might affect companies that provide physical goods and services, but digital sales (like games) are probably up as people look for ways to entertain themselves from home.
Chrono.gg coin shop was going downhill for quite some time and I'd imagine it had a lot to do with multi-accounting. Multis won't affect SG in any way since games are provided by the community. But a site that gives you freebies for clicks? Yeah that's not going to be sustainable. Imagine running something like that. Your genuine users with one account are going to start complaining about how quickly the games they wanted have ran out. They start accusing you of only putting 10 copies in there and so on. It becomes more damaging than if it didn't exist at all.
I've had one chrono account and I didn't even check it everyday. I have no doubts that some people set up bots to do that stuff over many many accounts. I've seen 10+ copies being given away here as soon as the new games went up on the coin store.
TL:DR... People suck. =)

Good points.
There were accusations of "only" putting 10 copies for a long time. But it usually took 30 minutes to 1 hour for the fastest taken game, so I could always get a copy legit. The last 5 given games ware insane, even with all the delays, the copies went up after 10 minutes.

Same thing that happened on tremorgames basically, people cheating with tasks, but tremorgames was okay with it because they weren't the ones being cheated, it's those companies who made the offers that got cheated, tremorgames was just making money out of it, so why do anything about them?
And then also the games they sold some went out of sale pretty fast sometimes because those that cheated had much coins to buy dozens of copies.
Also tremorgames took a cut from your earnings (even though they were already earning on the tasks themselves you were doing), and sold games rather at a high price at times, so they screwed you over twice, and yeah i still kept using it though, i made like 1 million coins in 6 years or so?
I didn't look at the cash it would made (which is really low if you look at it per hour) but rather the amount of games i earned with it, i think many of those companies that offered tasks quit because they got scammed, in the end tremorgames was also just a shell of what it used to be with a lot less tasks, although crowdflower (was a seperate tab on tremorgames with a special sort of tasks also was very good to earn coins that went downhill in the end).
Someone on the steam tremorgames discussion board was bragging he would make a replacement site for tremorgames, well apparenetly that never happened. Surprised noone did though. They also made some bad business decisions i think, like having 100 domino's pizza gift cards and such, if noone is buying it, you have wasted inventory/money.

Over the years, I don't think I've seen any of those companies that make offers be legit. It was always a gamble if you "completed" the task or not.
The way I see it, tremorgames was created in a time with better conditions. The contracts/offers were better. I remember tremorgames had trouble keeping their trade bot working after that Steam announcement.

Chrono reacted, 3 days before they made the announcement that they stop the coins, on a email of me where i listed them different multiaccounters from their site, that they are maybe able to track a part down.
Some companies pay headhunt rewards for that but they didn't :o(
So maybe ... they seen how infested the old system were.

Chrono wes aware about it. There were people on their forums proposing different ideas how to combat that. But there was apparently no good solution that wouldn't screw over the normal users, so they never made a change.

Oh, I'm sure a lot of us stopped worrying about Gamehag a good long time ago. :P
..What with their bait-and-switch/fake-out offers (where you'd get less credited points or none at all for a task), dubious way of handling item pricing [prices seem to invariably increase as you get close to purchasing the item you've got marked as 'working towards'. Staff indicated that they raise prices if demand was high and/or supply was low, which may be the explaination for that, and already feels somewhat rapacious in and of itself, even if it isn't really too far out of typical business expectations], and lack of support (if you're lucky, else you just get jerked around a bit by a rude support member speaking broken English).
To summarize that, you basically struggle to get their points, then you're lucky to get a fraction of the points listed, their support won't spare any time for you, and then finally the item you're aiming for increases significantly in price, meaning you've got to either keep dealing with the annoying system or pick an alternative purchase. Simply put, it's not about whether it's scammy or not [though I've heard plenty of reports of GH not actually sending out purchases, so that's still a strong consideration], it's about whether it's worth the frustration along the way.

The hassle is greatly increased. I mostly made this is a warning to any user that didn't have the chance to read the upcoming changes.

i can normally do all tasks for GAs they host... finishing from 1st try, except Twitter implementation is a bit laggy sometimes

It worked fine for me. But seems like they are either pausing or stopping their daily GAs.

Many games got ported over to html5. This seems like they were out of options, having failed the latest blocks and stickers implementation, they called it over.

On 15th july, gamehag will be changing their terms of use, making it harder for users to stay there. Namely if you don't do a task every 7 days, you won't be able to get SG for free. Considering how much trouble I had with tasks, having to send support tickets and they often forced me to do it twice to get the task, I decided to stop using it. You can read it here https://gamehag.com/terms section 6, number 22 and 23.
We also had chrono.gg shutting down their coin shop, kongregate closing down it's website game upload and community. It seems like the quarantine is forcing everyone to do heavy decisions.
