Hmmm I don't know, I look like a perv with a moustache and my beard doesn't close very well either... I will give it a thought though! I will need to read more about testicular and prostate cancer too (which is good) :]

my condolences bro - haven't lost anyone to cancer yet, but not for lack of its trying. Dad's Mom has had it twice and is currently fighting it again; lots of tobacco abuse from myself and others as well so... i can count on one hand how many selfies i've taken in my life... +1

I hope all goes wel for you and your family! Be assured it was my 1st selfie also but it's for a good cause. We're half way movember and it's itching like crazy but still I've had some good talks after recieving comments on it so it's working. Thanks for your support :)

I've always heard it as "no-shave" and not focused solely on moustaches so yeah heh. Reaaaally wanna trim my neck - freakin' gross - but i just carry a comb and try to keep it flat now :S not lookin' forward to moustache gettin' bigger though, starts to invade my mouth xD

"Men are dying too young", I first read this in a brochure in 2008 when I was taken to the hospital for heart surgery. All is well now but since that day every november I grow my moustache and try to contribute in the movember campaign. Like many others I've lost friends and family to cancer and suicide. Both are what movember is about, particulary problems faced by men. It's also trying to get in dialogue with people about these problems by growing a moustache. For me it's the easiest thing to do and over the years I have found it to be succesfull. People do ask why you are growing it and you get into conversation.
After reading Nask0's thread, I decided to make one too and try spread the awareness on sg. If you want to know more about movember, just visit the movember foundation website.
My last shave was 31/10/2016 and I thought it would be nice to see how and what kind of moustache sg-men grow so maybe you can take a picture of your mo now, add it in comment and when movember is over reply to your own comment with a new picture of how it looks like in 30 days. I know people usually don't like sharing photos of their face so just the mo will do.
If you're a girl/ woman or don't have facial hair, ask your partner to help the campaign. You may end up liking his new look :)
