Why would it activate on steam?Its not a steamworks game its a mmo game.Go to your account page in rift put key in and download client.

Damn. I never thought I'd hate my other job more than I already do...

All non steam giveaways will result in suspensions with minecraft and battlefield 3 being exceptions.

Not a retail key, just a 30 day trial, which is superfluous considering Rift Lite is already a trial.
