I'd much rather have the site flooded with fun indie titles that people actually want to play than these train games. I understand the purpose of the rules that are in place, but they don't seem to be working. Just my $0.02.

I am talking about ppl complaining that bundle keys are bad, just because they give too much contribution points. That's the MAIN reason they are not welcomed here.

so, 8-9% more off than using trains. Doesn't sound like much when I put it in terms of that, does it. For the sake of argument, lets throw out the extra 30 bundles you got. It was an isolated incident due to a technical issue, and it's really no different from IGN prime deciding to give out 30 free keys one special time instead of their usual.

Now that we've done that, lets look at other bundles. The latest indie gala had a minimum price of... around 7 bucks by the end. For that you got games worth around $70 retail(? I'm not exactly sure, as I've never posted them. While I disagree with the rule, I'm not about to violate it). so we're really looking at about 90% off (look familiar?) But wait, it's an indie bundle, so it's bad -- Not so if these were just old titles offered in an amazon bundle or something, the consensus seems to be that those break-ups are legit. Now, if you only wanted 2 games out of that and you want to pay the rest forward to the community, you're in violation of the rules.

And none of that goes back to the core argument, which is that it's not like people don't want these games, and it's not like they're coming for free. These dramatic sales essentially ruin the contributor index anyway, so why not embrace the bundles and share the love?

Anyhow, please don't take this as a personal attack. I'm actually a big fan of yours, and I'm just trying to fully explain the position held by a less articulate user, since I happen to see exactly where they're coming from.

So, where's the line? 10 times more is ok, but 20x not? That's what I'm talking about.

WTF? You get 4 packs, for every 1$ during Happy Hour(s), so you had to get 90 bundles or spend 10$. Also, buying all of them for cheapest price is just damn LEECHING.
