Thank you everyone for your help. I gave my friend a new steam account containing almost 50 games.

So a while back a very good friend of mine had a skateboarding accident where he landed on his head and got severely hurt. To this day he is still having trouble controlling the left side of his body correctly and he can't even play games with a controller anymore. I have a huge list of games I've collected through bundles, but I haven't played all of them so I don't know all the games that are fun + can be played with the mouse only or at least 90% with the mouse.

Here is my list of games. If anyone has any suggestions either from my list or maybe something I don't own that fits the criteria. Either way your suggestions would be appreciated. If anyone has any indie bundle games that would be perfect for my friend that I don't have I would happily buy them from you for a reasonable price.

Games collected so far:

  • The current humble weekly bundle
  • Card City Nights
  • Civilization IV (Thank you for the donation, Kasdar!)
  • Shufflepuck Cantina Deluxe
  • Men of War series
  • FTL
  • McPixel
  • Critical Mass
  • To The Moon
  • Scratches: Director's Cut
  • Syberia 1 & 2
  • Faerie Solitaire
  • Puzzle Kingdoms
  • Hero of the Kingdom
  • UFO Afterlight
  • Angry Birds
  • Little Inferno (Thank you for the donation, Jokke!)
  • Bit.Trip Runner2 (Thank you for the donation, Jokke!)
  • The Whispered World
  • Little Farm
  • Dollar Dash
  • Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time
  • Gravity Badgers
  • Super Hexagon
  • Toki Tori
  • Super Pinball 3D
  • Urban Trial Freestyle
  • Aerene - Clash of Champions
  • Blue Toad Murder Files
  • Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
  • iBomber Defense
  • Fractals
  • World of Goo
  • Poker Night 1
  • 3SwitcheD
  • Machinarium (Thank you for your donation, El Torso!)

Great picks I'm looking to buy/trade for:

  • Puzzle Agent 1 & 2
  • Poker Night 2
  • Go Home Dinosaurs
  • Peggle
  • Tropico 4
  • Age of Empires II HD
  • Defense Grid

Again, any suggesions would be appreciated.

Best regards to your fried. I highly recommend Infinity Wars. It is a f2p card game.

Most TD games are mouse only. If you have Galatrix you gotta get him the original Puzzle Quest!

You might want to take a look at this kickstarter project called the Kings Assembly. He would be able to play just about any PC game that allows you to use custom key bindings. It has already surpassed it's funding goal. The only downside is the first units aren't expected to ship until September. I can't tell by your post if he is expected to recover the full use of his left hand or if it's permanent.

Ben Heck modded an Xbox One controller to work for people that can only use a single hand. There is a video about it here.

You can also use a Saitek Pacific AV8R Flight Stick or similar joystick as a one handed controller for FPS type games. I hope this helps.

One hand doesn't mean Mouse Only only.

Trackmania only requires one hand, arrow keys are the only controls. (and pressing enter/delete to restart, although this can be remapped)

You might also suggest a gaming mouse to him. Like a Razer Naga or a Logitech G600, as both have 12 thumb buttons.

American McGee's Grimm is playable with mouse too. Left click to go forward, right click to jump, and move the mouse to look.

If you liked Civ 4, you could try Fallen Enchantress; Legendary Heroes. It's similar, but with a fantasy theme. It was on sale pretty heavily a while back, and you might be able to snag a copy cheap. Maybe.

Symphony. It's one of the best rhythm games I've ever played.
