Well ... it works most of the time. But you can get screwed over since it's no official retailer. So beware.
Personally, I avoid the grey market --

g2a is a reseller site true but it is legit and i never had problems

It's no official re-seller and therefore not what I'd call "legit". Simply delivering doesn't equal legit, since you've no idea where the keys come from. Most of the games are simply re-sold Russian or other cheap regional copies, which is against ToS. Actually, G2A has had issues with developers before.

I've read that some people have bad experiences with this website, but I myself never had a problem.
Bought a few games there and never encountered a problem so far -knocks on wood-.

afaik it's the ref program. just be sure not to post your ref links in sg forums.

i guess i should google it first. btw this answer might be useful:
"They're key resellers basically, people sell them keys that they themselves got for cheap during Steam sales, etc. In that respect they are not a scam, they do indeed sell Steam games.
The problem with reselling keys is that it's just a string of characters, there's no real guarantee that the original seller hasn't 'sold' it to multiple people or that someone hasn't already redeemed it. They try to get around this by their 'G2A Shield' which makes you speak to them via live chat to actually get the key, and then they make you screen share your desktop while you activate it. If anything goes wrong, as they claim, the person on the live chat will be able to sort it.
Therein is the problem, a lot of people who have complaints about the site say they're not particularly enthusiastic about sorting such problems. They go quiet, stop replying, etc.
Keys can also be region locked, depends on the game. There's no way to tell what region the key is from, again it means people can end up being given a key that can't be used."

I have used the G2A shield once and hated it. Since then I never used it again.
When I used it, I had to connect to this kind of chatroom with one of the people from G2A and it just took forever to connect and find someone who was available. It took me hours to finally get my key. They want you to allow them to watch on your screen, so they can see the key and installation went fine.
The idea is good, but the whole process was just too frustrating.
Edit:
Ah, bananarepublic already explained it.

nah, especially if they have a lot of ratings like 100+ maybe? If you're not trying to cut the money as low as you can and willing to pay a tiny bit extra use g2a shield for guarantee that you'll get your money back if the code doesn't work. For that extra feel of protection :).

FYI, when people say "well, no problem at all with G2A, I've received my key and it works !", doesn't mean it's legit. G2A is not legit, they don't get the keys they are selling from the publishers (in this case, Zenimax, but same thing for the other ones anyway).

As far shady key resellers go, it's probably on the safer side.
They deliver, but what they deliver might be a key that was shoplifted from a retail store, or one that was purchased with a stolen credit card. These keys do sometimes get revoked, but it happens very rarely. Sniper Elite 3 and Natural Selection 2 come to mind.

Yes it is. I have used it a lot. Just get G2AShield or whatever, they use a lot of resellers, which insures you just in case.

G2A is not legit. They are not an authorized reseller. They are an Ebay-like group that buy bundle games and website/regional deals to resell them later, except they do this in bulk. See https://twitter.com/devolverdigital/status/466577590606520320
If the keys that you buy from them don't work, then you're screwed and that's that. They can't guarantee their products and if you bought many things from them and revoked your payment they wouldn't have the power to revoke your games (would require contacting the publishers which they cannot do). To give you an idea of what their status is really - a garage sale masquerading as a store.
That's not to say that the majority of things you can buy there won't work. It has a reputation for being a cheap place with working keys. They are not a legitimate reseller though and the risk is all on you. If you're a good enough trader then you can find everything for less than G2A sells them anyway and legitimately. So it's not like your only option is $60 or a cd-key-garage-sale.com store.

No, G2A is not legit, it has tons of problems with purchases and many problems with customers in the past (revoked, invalid or used keys). Avoid it at all costs and don't believe people who say is legit, because it isn't.
Buy from legit places like Green Man Gaming, Nuuvem, GamersGate, Steam, Humble Bundle Store, and from others authorized resellers instead. Period.

Hi there everyone! I'd really like to try out The Elders Scrolls Online, but 50€ for me it's too much so i was looking for a better price until i happen to find g2a. Here it costs only 15 €, and it says I would have also the 30 days of free gaming, so i was wondering if this is legit. It seems too good to be true xD Someone bought something from g2a? Or even better someone bought TESO ? I'd really like to have your opinion :) thanks :)
Edit: Thanks everyone for your opinions and your suggestions! I bought it and everything seems to be ok :)
