How do one find motivation and energy to work while being sick?
I am rarely sick, but when I am, even the slightest cold incapacitate me for 3-4 days. I find it hard to think and focus, and so I sit almost moveless, not able to do anything apart from watching YouTube and drinking tea (and creating trains, I suppose...). This annoys me, because I have a lot of work for Uni and I sit here doing nothing.
What do you do while sick and with a heavy workload?
Thanks for any advices!
Also, Warhammer or Warhammer 40k?

Just rest when you are sick, and work hard when you get well. If you have deadlines, try negotiate with the supervisor/lecturer, they should understand your situation.

Sleep it off and cleanse your system with lots of water.. Your work quality will suffer if you're sick, and your illness may get worse.

If you absolutely must get the work done now, eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, drink plenty of water, and go easy on yourself. Get well soon. :)

Cod liver oil is yucky, though.

Bump! Thanks.

Sick: Cold-eze are awesome throat drops. Also, lots of Vitamin C. For work: break the projects into smaller tasks that you can accomplish with a few minutes of focus. Examples: bibliography entries for papers, which you'll have to do anyway, or searching for new sources for a paper. Creating index cards for studying, etc.

I try to sleep. While sleeping my body is fighting the cold without me being annoyed by it.

Get well fast!

If you try to push yourself too much, you will stay sick longer. It's better to just take your time and rest.
It will also clear out your mind a little, which will help you focus more once you're back in healthy state.
What I sometimes do is watch (or just listen to with my eyes closed) videos that relate to my classes, and I don't know if it really helps me understand more the material, but on a subconscious level I feel that I don't just leave my studies on the backburner.
Thanks for the giveaway, I hope you'll get better quickly.
