Real Time but requires a great deal of micromanaging. You can - and sometimes have to - manage the inventories of individual units and soldiers. They must be re-armed, healed, and maintained. The one thing I really found annoying was that you could not combine squads together.
Let's say, for instance, you have three squads of four soldiers each. Two die in the first group and three die in each of the last two. You're left with 4 soldiers that have survived, but you can't combine to become one unit. You have to control each of them individually. So you'll find through the course of the game a very long unit list to manage filled with unfinished units.
The game is fun though.

I have a pretty simple question. Does anyone know if the Men of War series has real time or turn based gameplay? I like strategy games but have enough turn based ones and would like to get some r5eal time games as well.
