I can't believe this happened to me

After playing Mount and Blade Warband for more than 100 hours this happened to me:

I was going to continue my adventure in Calradia, I entered in the game, loaded my savegame, and there was my character totally naked, with no money, no equips, at level 1 (it was at lvl 38), even my heroes were in the exactly situation. I can't explain how this happened, it's just happened.

I'm thinking about to start a new campaign again because I didn't like how the things were going, but this is frustrating folks

Now I have a question for you all: Have this happened to you before? (not in the same game of course)

I once went on Maplestory to find all my equips and avatar gone. Same with DFO, does that count?

Well I played borderlands 1 and got my solider to level 50 , I had really good items

And then one time power shot down , and when I tried to load save it said the save is corrupt =/
