Why don't I have an avatar?

It takes it from Steam, your lack is because Steam was down for a bit there.

Reuploaded but no dice. I am doomed to be faceless on steamgifts. Makes me a sad panda T_T

It should automatically get the avatar from your Steam profile. There was mostly likely an issue with the initial request and Steam didn't respond, so I just manually fixed it. However, avatars are rechecked hourly, so if anyone else has the same issue, just give it a little time, and it'll fix itself.
