I know it sounds stupid, but I am from Poland and I know this action is completely legit. Mass media often tells about "pajacyk". But I am not sure if it's one meal per every click or one meal per click per day :)

Well 1 click per day actually makes sense but money should come from somewhere, for example the guy/organization that runs this website can donate 10$ to charity without any form of ad or can donate 1000$ to charity getting help from some hidden ads. Imo It's charity either way.

I personally just don't like the concept of giving based on some arbitrary nonsense such as people clicking a button. If someone truly wants to give they do it and that's it, no propaganda needed. The same way as we buy from Humble Bundle for the games, not for the charity, though the charity can be a pleasant side effect, but again, not the reason.

It's more of an awareness thing. If the charity is just giving stuff away, they're like any other charity.
Doing this, it makes it into a "people need to show initiative so we help" which makes celebrities, the media etc. mention the charity a lot more, which in turn causes more sponsors to appear.

After you click on the doll, you are directed to the donations page (donate money or redirect 1% of your tax to our campaign - I am not pole, but that's what I think we see on that page). Obviously, clicking the doll won't provide money, but some of the people who visit the page will actually donate, so this is a clever way to make people share the link to the campaign. again, I am not pole, but that's what I believe

There in Poland we have Polish Humanitary Action where completly FREE with ONE CLICK you can help children!
