Almost prefer laptop but a desktop is easier to upgrade am I right?
That, and a laptop tends to:
Whatever you do, definitely go for a desktop PC if you want it only for stationary gaming.

Hey guys/gals. It's time for me to upgrade my PC (currently running a 5 year old laptop) and I am looking to this fine community for advice and/or recommendations.
My budget is around $1400-$1900. I'd like it to contain a decent amount of horsepower while being able to run it all the time without the worry of overheating. Desktop or Laptop doesn't matter. Almost prefer laptop but a desktop is easier to upgrade am I right?
I'm not necessarily looking for ultra settings on everything I play but I am currently stuck running most if not all my games on low settings just so my laptop doesn't shutdown on me. Would love to change that ;)
Any and all advice is welcome and thank you in advance for your help.
