Yeah, I get you'd rather have different games than DLCs... so do I. But if someone is interested in Stellaris, this seems to be a good deal. It would cost much more to get them on Steam, even when they're on sale.
Still, as I don't want to play Stellaris, this is a quite disappointing bundle for me.

Oh it’s humble and trust me it makes sense in their mind.
Apparently “friend” is a limited term. I had troubles buying a key for my niece and forgot to check this is a gift. They declined my payment. When I asked they’re like : tos. Use our gift function. Me: you ban people for using the gift function too often... also just giving a key is easier. Them: tos. They’ll continue hiding behind their tos unless you live in Europe and threaten to sue them.

Given that they never go below 50% with their DLC "sales".... it's a surprisingly good deal.
Two things to consider:
- It's only 7 out of 16 currently released DLCs... (3 out of 4 expansions and 4 out of 8 "packs")
- how many more DLCs are they going to spawn for this game? At least one expansion is upcoming.

Does everyone has to jump up in delight for a partly dlc pack of a niche game? They are just luring ppl into buying all their DLcrap eventually for completionizm. So this bundle is a joy for fans, who wanted to buy it all anyways (yet hadn't done it already). Others just see it as it is - a crude marketing tool for selling one shit a hundred times to the same buyer.

I am still considering this bundle as I like such games. Unfortunately Paradox games are often great but with many many DLC which is very costly (also hard to tell how many :) ). Also it is possible that "soon" they will make complete bundle pack like for Crusade Kings 2 or Universalis IV.
Anyway can you tell me (if you know) which DLC are more important and which less in your opinion?

I find it kind of funny that the first time stellaris was bundled in the monthly I bought it, since I heard good things about it and wanted it kind of so bad that I figured paying 12 bucks for it was a steal and plus getting another game I liked (plague inc) and others (don't remember what else came with it)
I want to say I skipped out on al the others, but then I believe I bought the best of paradox bundle, since I wanted to have the rome game, which I think it was 15 for it, which at the time I think was the cheapest way to get that game and I think there was another game that peaked my interest.
But it is kind of funny how it's been bundled so much, basically bundled every year if you think of it, won't be surprised if they bundle it again in 2022 (or later this year LOL)

After they made CK2 free to play and added a monthly subscription for DLC access, it's not far-fetched to envision the same happening for Stellaris.

But you have to think when they made CK2 free, CK3 was just around the corner and when they released the monthly sub for DLC access I believe CK3 was released by then.
So if you take that into account, we would have to wait for Stellaris 2 to come out, but basically at this point all that is left is to just give stellaris away for free since it is already on the 1$ tier for bundles.

Bought tier 1. I've always been interested in Stellaris. I got sucked in for 90 minutes and still feel like I have no clue what I am doing. I might be too stupid for this game. But I'm going to continue to give it a try and see if I like it enough to go up tiers and get the DLC.
Edit: Ended up buying DLC. The game sucked me in. I'm playing it when I should be playing my backlog.

I am in the same boat as others I basically own this bundle except for three items: The Species Pack, Megacorp, and the Ancient Relics. I mainly myself just like another fav game of my (ck2) mainly bought the dlc that were classified as expansions or that added new flavor to the game and not so much the cosmetic dlc.
It is kind of a toss up to buy this to get the ones I'm missing, since I think megacorp is probably under 10 when on sale and the ancient relics is like less than 5? so it may be a wash and then I get that species pack (which I don't want) and then I get DLC I already own and will have yet another stellaris key LOL from the last strategy bundle.

Same, lol. I've never played Stellaris and don't usually get DLCs because they're expensive, but I've liked most Paradox games I've tried and always end up wishing I did have the expansions. I did some quick-and-dirty math using ITAD's lowest price for each, and the Tier 3 total came out to roughly 50% of that, so I decided to just go for it.
