SteamTrades. I've also done trading over GameFAQs, though that isn't a trade site. Had one scammer there.

SteamTrades. At least if I get scammed I can immediately banhammer the user.

Hahaha. That must be fun. Done it much for that offence, or not many people that stupid?

It's not hard to not get scammed, so I haven't had to use it. But I will admit to having used my title to instill confidence in the other user, or so that they will go first when I was a little uneasy.

No offense, but it really should be someone else making that decision based on any available evidence. That would be like a judge ruling on their own case, which if course is a no-no.

Steamtrades and TF2Outpost are probably most common, but be careful of people sending phishing links over at outpost, seems there's a bot scanning newly bumped posts and sending out invites automatically.

Autobump is for contributors, and since they changed it to a monthly system rather than a one time fee, not something I use :)

Oh, I didn't even know they were changing the system. I hope they'll think about it again, the new system is just too expensive.

I wouldn't use TF2outpost, that's a horrible site. About 98% of the people are incredibly greedy and are looking to make a ton of profit. So if you like to get ripped off, give it a go. If not, check out Steamtrades.

Like I said before, sometimes steamtrades is cheaper, sometimes tf2outpost is, but I think the people on steamtrades are much more greedy. Try using the site more before saying these things.

I have completed about 20 trades on both sites so I think I can judge them.

I've completed way more than 20 trades on both sites, and I agree with Drafek that sometimes strades is cheaper and sometimes tf2op is. In my experience, games currently on sale are cheaper on tf2op, while other games are cheaper or comparable on strades.

You just described every trader, not just TF2OP users.

Nah, not every trader is like that. Sometimes I want to exchange a few Trading Cards and that's where a site like tf2outpost comes in handy because if I sold and purchased cards on the market I would lose money. However, most of the times these guys "offer their services" for a 1:2 trade. Selling a card on the market is so much cheaper than trading 1:2 but yet so many people fall for that.

I use both sites and I have completed dozens of transactions on each. On average, steamtrades is a bit cheaper, but most of the best (cheapest :)) transactions I made on tf2outpost. Tf2 has a better search engine, often you can easily see the price in the results list, you do not need to enter a specific offer. Also, for me, better and easier to use is tf2 outpost.

i like:

  • Tf2outpost.com people are nice, pleasent and read text.
  • dota2lounge it's big but now if you refresh more then 1 trade scam bot added you and this is very annoying.
  • dota-trade - just dont like this page. peope can give you rep - because you have item that they wanna get
  • steamtraders - it's just forum with trade offers hard to find something but love this community.
  • bazaar.tf - it's new page but they have a lot of people.
  • steam4u.com - my trade page. Its on beta testing right now and i try take everything from this page what is good and put it to mine
