Hello. I have a sister living in UK, and I'm thinking about letting her log in to my steam account and buy Max Payne 3 (with her UK credit card) for me. Will I get my account banned for doing that? (I'm not from UK).

You shouldn't, many people do this, I got a Russian person to get me witches 2 which is a lot cheaper and all I had to do was change the Russian language.

Can't she just gift it, she doesn't have to log in to your account?

Well, she doesn't have her own steam account and I am planning to do this as simple for her as I can.

Make her gift it to you, it's the safest way. Steam can and probably will lock your account for doing this. You can unlock it afterwards contacting support, but it's a hassle.

It would be weird for them to lock my account, since they have implemented steam guard to verify the user.
