Negative trade feedback

Just wondering, when is it okay to leave a negative feedback? Other than the obvious reasons - scams, duplicate/invalid keys etc.

EDIT: I may have phrased that poorly - it was meant for the trading part of the site, not giveaways.

I got a person respoding to my trade thread, he offers a trade, I accept and add him and then he backs out, no reply or explanation.

Also, don't forget to add to your blacklist.

I get that you're angry, but it's pretty annoying to check someone's feedback and see that their -rep is not from a trade. It would easily make me distrust you more for misusing the system than him, which is the opposite of what you want

Yeah, personal blacklist seems more fitting anyway. Didnt think it was reason enough to leave a bad rep anyway, otherwise I would've done it straight away.

ignore him/her. shifty characters are better left alone. and without solid evidence you become liable under misuse of trade feedback if you give -ve trade feedback.

So you didn't trade with them. Don't leave a feedback at all, that would be against the rules and you could get suspended.

maybe the way you got the game. I received a game through the steam trade system
and it sucks. I received it but don't even know how i did it. Gifting is better

Bro, every person is free to back off from a trade. The only reason you should give negative feedback is because after reaching an agreement the person disappears. But if you talk and he clearly says he has changed his mind, it's his right to do so.
You might be displeased but rememeber that one day you might back off from a trade too. Just be polite and say it instead of ignoring the trader ;)
