I definitely see the benefit of a short giveaway. For the creator, the benefit of a short giveaway is that you can get rid of your key and get some CV as soon as possible. For someone who enters, you have a higher chance to win if you enter in time.

The benefit is less entrants which gives a feeling of better chances of winning - and a feeling that you already won just by being around to enter a short giveaway :)

If I am not mistaken the last couple of giveaways you created were much shorter than 1 week. Try to lead by setting a good example and create a couple of one week long giveaways.

OP doesnt create giveaways. He just dont see the benefit for everyone else to create giveaways that he doesnt have time to enter. Im suprised he didnt complain about the point limit.

I didn't start a thread to be pitied or abused. I just think that we'd all be able to enter more giveaways for games we'd be excited to win if the window for the giveaways being available was longer.
AFAIK there aren't any legit automated wishlist entering thing a ma jigger (not that that's what I want).

You complain about others and their decision to make shorter giveaways, so you have to deal with it when others complain about you.
And saying you are poor is just an excuse for starting the role of becoming a leecher.

How often do you check this site daily? Is that normal?
I was wishing, I'm sorry if it was interpreted as deserving your scorn. I'll contribute more when I can, as I have in the past (I don't think I'd be helping anyone passing along freely available promotions as some do).

Low effort whine post but ok.
More active people have bigger chance to spot quick GA with better chance to win, this motivates users to check the site more often. More visits = more revenue for the site that made you able to get 165 games for free. But I guess that wasn't enough huh?

What the people above me said.
Also, what, in your opinion, would be the benefit of a week long giveaway?

I don't see the benefit of having a giveaway last for an hour. I wish every giveaway was at least a week long.
