I can't remember an old game !! (^^ Found it thanks everyone ^^)

^^ It may be under the year 2000 ^^ and after i think i remember it installed it from a magazine cd as a demo, it was an 2d rpg/adventure you started in a ship deck and then some things stated to fall down from the sky (or it was fire destroying the ship) and after that you wake up in an island and i remember a village that has cameras everywhere!!

I KNOW it won't be this, but it wasn't Bioshock, was it? Probably way to recent too be that but there is a ship, well, a plane but you still end up in the drink with fire all around you and you do end up in an underwater city where there do seem to be cameras everywhere that you can hack.....?

EDIT Sorry, didn't see the "Dink Smallwood" comment....I'll just shut up until I can contribute a decent reply
