The question is about drops. Im new in this game, and i read that we are limited to 2 cases and 2 skins drops per week. I read too that if you buy a operation pass you will have more drops per week.

So my question is about new operation vanguard. If a buy the operation vanguard pass, Will i have more random drops(not mission drops) per week?

If the question is yes, Is this increase only during the operation? or it will increase my random drops per week for ever?

Sorry for my english and correct my if im wrong.

Thanks in advantage.

AFAIK, you will be granted one extra operation case drop per week until the operation is over.

Plus, you get drops after completing missions. You will be able to do one every 4 days, one every 2 days if you buy the optional campaigns.

You get 3 drops per week. Used to be 5, but now it's 3. It's a combinations of skins and cases. It's not fixed. You can get 3 cases, or 3 skins, or any combination thereof. The only thing that's fixed, is the total of 3 per week.

Now, if you buy Vanguard, then you get the mission rewards on top of that. The mission drops are random for skins, but not random for cases. The missions description tells you what it drops; it either drops a Vanguard case, or one of the skins in a list. You can do 2 missions each 4 days. You can buy two additional missions slots for 3€ each. So if you pay another 6€, you can then do 4 missions each 4 days.

As you can imagine, this operation is the biggest money-grab ever done by Valve in this game.

I still bought it. Cases are quite cheap though. I got three Vanguard cases, and they went for 0.55€ each. In previous operations, prices for cases were above 2€ on launch. This time around, cases drop a hell of a lot more due to half of the missions always guaranteeing a case drop.

But I'd say I'll make the money back anyway. But if you're hoping to actually make some profit from cases, it doesn't look good. In previous operations, I would make about 10€ from selling cases. This time around, this isn't gonna happen. Cases are falling in price very quickly due to the flood of them.
