Hey! The details are now in the thread's description! Thank you AllTracTurbo!

I never understood this either. Maybe they know a comment can be edited, but they don't know that the main discussion can also be edited because it is kind of hidden behind the green "open" button? So maybe they want to post the info in a comment so they have the ability to update it at a later time, even though the main discussion can also be edited at any time. The only thing that can't be modified is a poll.

Hey! I did not know that. And yes, you did guess correctly! Thank you for the learning moment!
Oooh.... I see a green arrow to go to the last comment, but I am not seeing anyway to edit the original post. 😢
Can you give a little more help for this blind fellow? :)

If you open the discussion that you created, there is a green button on the top right of the page that says "open" with a drop down arrow next to it. You can edit or close the discussion from there.

Ugh! I really feel like an idiot. I looked mainly in the forum as opposed to within the thread. Thank you so very much! No more [Reserved] comments for me! :)

You have done very well! If you like, send me the car id (it is "hidden" at the bottom of each car... and the clues you have. I will help as much as I am able to without giving the answer itself. :)

Bump and meow - wow you put a ton of work into this. Thanks!

It definitely was more work than I had hoped! Just finding copyright free images for the poems took hours! :)

There is no puzzle here in this discussion thread. There is a hyperlink above at the VERY TOP of my first post that will take you to the beginning of the train. :)

Ah. I understand. I am sorry that there was nothing (games or puzzles) that interested you.

It has been hot here as well! I actually got dizzy a couple of times today when I was out. I wasn't sure I would make it home to lay down for a bit. But thankfully I did and feel better now. :)

That's what my wife said. I replied that I wasn't feeling very well or clear headed and needed a drink, not a lecture. :)

This train has a Level 3 requirement as well as a small SGTools speedbump to pass. I apologize to all, especially to those below Level 3, that this will exclude. Here is the entry point to the ABC Train
I am very hopeful that most or all of the giveaways will have valid keys. If one does not, please understand that I simply do not have the ability to purchase additional keys. If necessary, you may ask for a refund of your entry ticket and I will happily refund the amount you paid for your ticket (I jest, of course!).
Should a key not work... if I have a spare key, I will replace the bad key. If I do not have a spare key, I think it will be best to mark the game as "Not received" to close out the contest. This would be better than me asking to delete the contest because marking "Not received" will not cause more work for our overburdened moderators! :)
Please do not share links either publicly or privately.
If you believe that I have provided a broken link, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I think all links are correct, but this was a lot of work and I ran out of time to test as thoroughly as I would have like to.
Hello everyone! This is my attempt at a real train. I'll give it a little name the "ABC Train". I hope that there will be something here that everyone will be interested in.
Each cars presents a poem. I like to display pictures when I present poems because I think it helps shape the mood and "complete" the poem. Unfortunately, you will need to click "View attached image" and it will then be below instead of above the poem as I would have liked. Some of the poems are by well known authors. Many are by a, well, much less known author! :)
There might be more than one level to this train. You decide!
I apologize to all who are not fluent in English as any puzzles within could be more challenging for you. I think and hope that you are able to solve the puzzles anyway. If you think there is something I might do to help (without giving the answers, of course), let me know! :)
I have confidence that many, if not most, of these puzzles will be fairly easy for the experienced SteamGifts crowd. But if I notice that not many people are finding the contests, I will post more clues in a few days.
Last but not least I want to give a hearty "Thank you" to a few users who helped me immensely in the making of this train..
Andy helped with a few of the puzzles and was very willing to help me learn more of the art of hiding things in plain sight. Thank you, Andy!|
WaxWorm has been extremely helpful in fixing errors in the train and in helping me learn more about the encryptions used. Thank you, WaxWorm!
AllTracTurbo also needs a place of honor here even though most of his help occurred in a different discussion because it helped me immensely in this train. For helping me find the "hidden" Edit button and a work around for my "one-cell tables"! Thank you, AllTracTurbo!
