Need Feedback/ New Giveaways

If you need ideas, here are Top gift choices taken from the top 10 wishlist items of all members.
I personally would love to see a giveaway for Rage.
As for giveaway "rules", I think the nicest way to do it, is a private giveaway, to which you post the link on this forum.
That way everybody has the chance to enter, but there will probably be way less entries from people that aren't really part of this community.

I'd like to see more Borderlands GOTY giveaways. Maybe even multiple copies :3
As for the rules, I agree with nofing - go private, and post the link on the forum. It cuts the amount of entries by a good measure.

I'll try to come up with something.

I´ve done it before and I´ve also seem some other users doing it, You can puzzle-protect your giveaway, that is, you create a giveaway with some game like fortix (.99$) and on it´s description you put a puzzle which sollution/sollutions lead´s to the real giveaway. It´s entertaining and challenging.

I have decided on my first title to giveaway as well a gimmick i hope you all will enjoy but thats all for now and no its not active yet there will be a forum post about it. But keep ideas rolling.

You could do a private giveaway and a puzzle, post it in the forums, where the puzzle reveals the giveaway's url (those 5 numbers). But of course there's going to be people trying to bruteforce it too.

You could do a community puzzle in the forums, and when one person solves the puzzle you reply with the private giveaway url.

You could do a public giveaway that asks people to visit a website you like, or watch a video you enjoy.

You could do a private giveaway and just post the link in the forums for the people who visit the forums routinely. You could even make it a fairly speedy one if you wanted to.

You could also do something like putting the giveaway url on some other website, then link over to that website.

I dunno, I'm not that creative. D:

Spread random links among your posts, ie. in an otherwise inconsequential and unrelated forum post you could have a hidden link to a private giveaway in the period at the end of a sentence.
