i was thinking, we should have some sort of, say steamgifts game servers, like, i want to find people to play borderlands with (AJValentine btw, feel free to add) and i'm sure there is the exact same problem, either none of the friends you have, have the game, have it installed or even want to play, so we should set up a SteamLobby (just an idea) where people can come, trade the names and play online as a community :)

so, thoughts?

He means your sentence just goes on and on and is just one big chunk of text. You should break it down into sentences and also learn to use commas properly. I'm not trying to hate, just giving you a suggestion.

Sure, sounds good idea for me. Im looking for COD:MW3 players, L4D2, CS:S, TF2 players. Now more looking to MW3 Because only 7 of my friends have the game..

He may be wrong about no one having it, but I would definitely agree with the sentiment that popularity does not equate to quality (not that anyone was saying that to begin with). For example, look at the box office take on Avatar.

"Best sold from launch" means nothing more than what it says. People loved MW2 so they thought MW3 would be just as good which is why so many people bought it when it first came out, only to find out that it's not that much better than MW2. They should have called it Modern Warfare 2.5. MW3 was quite a disappointment to be honest.

But I dubt that the admin/mods would host them(pay for them). cg already pays for these sites, so maybe players would have to donate for the servers :)

and i'm sure a community this big would easily pay £1 ($/euro) each, it would mount up very quick, and easily pay for a private, very good servers. of course this is something that probably needs to be discussed as a whole, not just 5 or so people in a thread.
