I completely agree. People are so quick to judge and unable to put themselves on the other person's shoes... Its astonishing. I think it would be best if we just all relax and take things easy. Idk, not taking so much stuff by heart, take some time to understand things and not be so quick to defend one's position just for the sake of just being "right"... I really think people want to think they're always right about everything and just close their ears willingly in order to not listen the other person's point of view... Idk, I feel most of the times if not about who's right or wrong but about understanding and be respectful of people's point of view... Idk, just my 2 cents on the subject...

On internet rarely I get offended, sometimes when minority of /r/dota2 suggest one particular (don't wanna name it) feature that I am very against it, then I know that I have to voice my opinion and sometimes gets into argument, on end not sure if it offends me but it uses a lot of energy (for unaware, /r/dota2 has big power over what Valve implements into Dota, so I have to put argument against that suggestion othervise if they implement it I have no right to complain...and plus usually most people agree with me so hopefully it will never be implemented just because some small vocal minority demands it from time to time)
In life, almost nothing, I avoid things I don't like, I am surrounded by people that I love, just sometimes some stupidity offends me but it's rare.

Those in the mainstream media (MSM). The big tv networks of several decades since the tv was invented and various newspaper and internet reporting outlets. CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, Huffington Post, Vice, and many others with declining viewership, are among the worst abusers of spreading lies and made up "sources" for where they get their news.
People end up making fun of them for pretending to "report" the news so much, the networks whine about their Constitutional rights are under attack for it.
It is so bad that some reporters say their children tell them they report fake news. #UnplugYourTv

since we're on SG and we deal mostly with steam games, I kind of don't like trash making it to steam. But I wouldn't go as far as saying it offends me. I just wish that Valve actually cared enough to not let garbage onto the store. I think "offend" is a stronger word than I need here, maybe "concern"? Trash on steam concerns me? I have opinions on some of the other poll entries but those belong outside SG for me

Maybe the definition of offended got too broad and it's a pastime now. We all get annoyed or bothered by some things, mad at others. It's a matter of degrees. But now it seems everybody is looking for fights any way they can get them.
I am human so I can get upset and I can get hurt even but going around taking personally everything every fool says, and we all know they're everywhere these days... it's just counterproductive, destructive and a waste of energy.
I guess that was my point when I say I don't "offend" easily. If anyone insults someone I love, I'll get mad but "offended" is below my spectrum. There are jokes people find "offensive". Most of the time they're just not funny. The fact that they are targeting people is more pathetic than offensive.

lol yeah I think a lot of parents are weird. All I'm really hoping is to be better at it than my Dad.
I believe Fatherhood is a lot about love and being open to who our kids turn out to be without pushing your expectations of them so they don't think you're disappointed in them. And trying to make them understand that you're only human so they don't get disappointed in you.
But when they're there, and if you feel loved, even not all the time, that's cool I think.

Offensive things. Having "nothing" offend you simply means you lack empathy and that's more concerning than someone being offended. Like, even if you say/do something you don't think it's offensive and it does hurt someone's feelings the natural reaction should be to stop doing that instead of being butthurt and "offended" at someone being offended.

I was surprised there wasn't an option that said "This poll". Polls don't actually offend me but I would totally pick that option if it was there.
