Good thing there are multiple prizes then.
While I am interesting in Starbound, I'm way more interested in Stardew Valley.

Bumpy I guess.
I'm one of those guys who really want to have the game greenlit and will stop to nothing...almost nothing...maybe.

Not only developping Terraria (and thus the incoming Starboud) but Chucklefish also helped publish Wanderlust I believe.

This isn't entirely accurate. Tiy, the guy who formed Chucklefish, worked on Terraria, but he didn't publish it. Chucklefish was formed after Terraria came out, and Tiy was the only person from Chucklefish who worked on Terraria.
Just because Starbound is similar in concept and design does not mean its the exact same people that worked on Terraria. Completely different dev team, different publisher. Just fyi.

Yes it is. Check the site...you nominate a dev and then if that dev gets the most votes, you win a trip to E3.

But this isn't the dev posting it here...therefore you shouldn't report someone passing it around. It is so a game can make it to E3. Not the person posting it. Someone already posted one about Starbound, and Starbounds Twitter even had the same link. This isn't for some fan to go to E3.

"The ten nominators with the best submissions will win passes for themselves and their nominated indies." Like I said, the person doing the nominations will get a trip to E3 as well. As such, anyone posting about this should simply give the base site and not mention any particular developer.

Well who's to say this isn't actually the OP who nominated it? You shouldn't report based on assumptions.

Referral links are not allowed. It doesn't matter who's referral link it is.

In that case you have much more work to do, with all those greenlight games promoted on this forum, and game recommendations.
Well, since you really want me to, I can show you this discussion from Stardew Valley's Greenlight page where I first found the info.

For an indie game development team to qualify for nomination, it must: (i) have less than 10 team members (whether owners, employees, volunteers, and/or contractors) working on its project(s); (ii) the project(s) must be a digital video game; and (iii) the team must be a standalone venture, unaffiliated with any other digital video game company
Not sure how cut and dry the definition of 'affiliation' is nowadays due to it appearing everywhere, but I think it counts.

While Chucklefish helps ConcernedApe publish Stardew Valley, I do not know how it works legally.
Chucklefish already helped Yeti Trunk publish Wanderlust, and there is no mention of them in the publisher section on Steam.

I wish indie games nowadays care about graphic quality a little bit. This isn't 1980 era.
Trine series are masterpiece. Not only do they have great gameplay, they also polish the graphic as well. I don't expect AAA level, but polishing is necessary not just slapping random pixels and calling it finished.
Don't get me wrong, I played Harvest Moon on PS1 extensively, and I liked the genre so much. It's just I'm a bit irked after seeing Stardew's ss.

I think the graphics are fairly polished, and I like them just fine. It's boring if all games go for the same art style. I know what you mean though, I've seen plenty of games going for a 'retro' style that just don't do it very well.
Stardew is one of the ones that does it right, in my opinion.
Also, Stardew is more 1990s era graphics, not 1980s.

Yeah, we often get games with a pseudo retro feel that seems like a half-assed way of going cheap with graphics while saying it is to cater to retro fans.
In this case, I think the dev is trying to follow the Harvest Moon style with graphics too, the only thing I have a problem being the character art for their faces.
Not to mention that to get a complete game with a number of mechanics made by a single dev, this is totally acceptable, unlike so many games on Greenlight actually.
As usual, this is from a guy who loved both HM games and SNES / PS era games, so I am quite biased.

That is my main goal.
IF the game goes to E3, it will get a huge amount of exposure which would bring more interested people to know about the game.

Well, great news, Stardew Valley has just been greenlit.
