Doesn't seem to have an upgrade option on the store, so probably not.

You can upgrade it by buying the Deluxe Edition later... I hate it when there's no upgrade option other than buying the whole game again.

Well, this is not an "upgrade" though... If I remember correctly, Steam had (has?) an option for upgrading to Deluxe Edition the Stardand edition of ACII. Ah... Well, now I need to find 2 more keys... Or 14 ref. Darn.

No. I think only one game in the series has an upgrade option. Revelations?

Just checked. ACII has still an upgrade to Deluxe Edition. Revelations don't have a "Deluxe" Edition, but the Gold Edition, which is more like the base game + all the 3 DLCs, so since the DLCs are sold seperately, there's no reason to have an upgrade, even if it would be cheaper. The thing with Brotherhood is that it has exclusive content, like the soundtrack, but the thing is, but still, these exclusive content as easy to get... I mean, in the ACIII and ACIV games, the Deluxe Edition gives Playstation-exclusive missions, so that's why they are not upgrade-able, but Brotherhood has nothing like that... Also, ACII has an upgradeable Deluxe Edition option because it is like Revelations, Base game + 2 DLCs, nothing "exclusive". I will see what I can do with UPlay support.

Rather late, but there is no need to even get the Deluxe Edition!

The PC version received 'Da Vinci's Disappearance' for free which includes the two single player missions, the MP skins and the armor. The only things you're actually missing out on by not getting the Deluxe would be the digital history and art book, the movies and soundtrack.
