Why does it always have to be ninjas? This is so racist and discriminatory.

Ninjas aren't the only people who are sneaky. In fact in thieves are also just as slick and quick as Ninjas. The only reasons ninjas get so much credit is because of the fact that back in feudal Japan there were similar to thieves: In the unrest of the Sengoku period, mercenaries and spies for hire became active in the Iga Province and the adjacent area around the village of Kōga, and it is from their ninja clans that much of our knowledge of the ninja is drawn. Following the unification of Japan under the Tokugawa shogunate, the ninja faded into obscurity, being replaced by the Oniwabanshū body of secret agents. A number of shinobi manuals, often centered around Chinese military philosophy, were written in the 17th and 18th centuries, most notably the Bansenshukai.

Though ninja history has been brought into play by many individuals. Please be aware that they aren't the only lost fantasies that are considered "sneaky" In fact we can bring the term "Ghost" or "Thief" into play. Though they sound more rude in comparison I understand the jist and availability of the words in conjunction to the context that is placed here.
