My son and I looked at it. Here it had a reddish hue but also a smoky look. May have been due to partial cloud cover but it definitely did not look normal. Happy cake day and gratz on space cat!

Yeah. For us here in Germany e.g. the whole thing started at 3:07am - where you could see the shadow of the earth "wandering" across the moon. The total eclipse, which made the moon appear red, was from 4:11am until 5:23am ^_^
