I enter into games that I've thought about trying but don't have the money to waste on a game I potentially won't like. I've already put in over an hour in my most recent win (trine), and plan on playing that one more. The win before that, I have 3 hours on, so that's already 4+ hours on 2 games. Learn2math. The games that don't have more than an hour of gameplay on I didn't like, so I'm glad that I won them and didn't buy them.

Perfectly said Pichwise. I almost thought dragonbob was trolling; his comments looked like those of a government certified retard. Rude, arrogant and dumb, a winning combination to be a perfect candidate for retroactive abortion. Spends more time acquiring games than playing them, blubbering on threads that affect him in no way, smearing his bloody tampon all over the monitor and having a hissy-fit. Tool.

He wasn't talking about himself, but there are others who have maybe 3000 entries with no wins. There is no ratio of any description.

I won my first giveaway at 400-500 entries and then I realised that it's better to enter private giveaways, so I started to solve puzzle giveaways, that's why I have 4 wins. If you enter giveaways with more than 1000 entries it is possible that you will never win, because chance of winning is very small.
About that 1k entries, I wasn't talking about myself.
And one more thing, I'd rather buy games myself than let friend make a giveaway for me. That sounds miserable.

Protip: search for groups that have the words "giveaway" or "gift" or something similar to that in their name. Just remember that there are also groups that make giveaways but doesn't necessarily look like giveaway groups at first glance.

just by searching 0 wins on the search method i found 2 recent theards of groups, and 1 theard of tournament for only those who didnt win. abit further search and you will find even more.
