Recently i have played a way out and i have to say eventhough i have played a ton of coop games this one has to be my favourite by far.

Nah, Overcooked won't make you enemies, it'll just make your friends frustrated.
Now New Super Mario Bros for Wii, now that's a game that's designed to make you enemies. I played the first few levels with my SO, and it was really fun so we got it - little did we know that those fist few levels give you a false sense of security, and that it cranks up the difficulty and frustration by the end of the first world. I mean, giving you only 1 penguin suit on an ice stage? The co-op mode should be named divorce mode.

It's a pity that we still have to wait till Fall for Trine 4 to release.. :(
Worth noting that Osiris is extremely buggy and there are good odds of co-op not working correctly (as was the case with my own attempts); As such, that's a risk that should be kept in mind prior to purchasing it. On the other hand, its predecessor [Guardian of Light] is quite easy to recommend.

Yeah looking forward to Trine 4, even if I don't think I'll buy on release, I'll wait for some discount or bundle :p
I didn't encounter any bug with Osiris, I played local coop tho, most of the people who complained in reveiew were about online coop I think.

There's no co-op in the original Katamari Damacy, that was exclusive to the sequels. Given that there are Steam Community discussions complaining that co-op wasn't added to Reroll, that doesn't seem to have changed any with the game's remake.
There's a very basic competitive mode in the first game (which seems to also be present in the PC version of Reroll, despite the Steam page not listing any multiplayer for the game) but, by way of being a passing afterthought to the main game, it was an extremely simplistic offering that I didn't find much appeal in even when the game was new, back in 2004. If the aim is engaging multiplayer, it's definitely worth holding out for the sequels to be ported, instead.

echoing Wyv and Keep if you like puzzles, but too bad the game didn't sell very well (for puzzle fans)
looks like they fixed the online server in the Steam news, though

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is fantastic.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is pretty good, supports up to 4 players, but not quite as good as GoL.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is stressful fun.
Overcooked is similar, just in a kitchen.
Divinity Original Sin is great coop, but it's quite a commitment.
Trine 1 & 2 are good fun.
Dungeon Siege 3 is pretty fun.
And if you have a recent console, Diablo 3 is a blast via couch co-op.

I love local-coop games for PC. I was wondering what some of this community's favorite Local-Coop games are!
