Is it time to Recharge your backlog with some new additions?
quite expensive just for gylt and kao...
however, those (and a few others) are very expensive in my region.
i really dunno about this one.

oh thanks a lot for the heads up. i was trying to find a split for kao solely and i was about to get utterly disappointed...

Could be interesting. Need to get a closer look when I have time.

A bundle of totally optional (for me) games, but for charity - why not.
[edit] Actually I'm glad to try Vampire Survivors, finish Gylt (hopefully the stadia save will transfer over) and replay Zool (previously played on Amiga). Some other potentially fun games in there as well (e.g. the "recharged" titles from Atari). Nice bundle overall.

Fanatical messed it up, I got this package of Kao the Kangaroo 2000 re-release instead of a new one https://steamdb.info/sub/848015/ Be careful when creating giveaways

They responded, they will not be providing the mistake keys. Oh well, worth a try. Kao the Kangaroo (2000 re-release) is the correct one.

I wonder if they'd even offer refunds, since they have this disclaimer on the site:
"Please note: The Safe In Our World Charity Bundle is a charity purchase and qualifies as a charitable donation. All proceeds go to the charity. Please bear in mind that we cannot refund donations without the permission of the charity."

As long as you haven't revealed all the keys in the bundle you can get a full refund... however if you just want a refund for the Kao mistake, they will probably just refund the value of the key which is $0.58. I just told them it's fine and don't want a refund. It's for charity...

"We are very sorry for this mixup.
The wrong version of Kao the Kangaroo was advertised in our Safe In Our World Charity Bundle 2024.
The correct title included in the bundle is Kao the Kangaroo (2000 re-release), which you have received.
We have fixed the bundle product page to reflect the correct title and we apologize for the inconvenience.
If you would like to refund Kao the Kangaroo currently in your bundle, please let us know and we are happy to process that for you."

here is a little problem, i received Kao the Kangaroo (2000 re-release) instead of Kao the Kangaroo

Er... Vampire Survivors isn't rubbish, nor is Zool, nor is Stick Fight, nor...

Big pass.
I own half of these and have ignored half of the remaining half.
Price is good for a charity bundle, if you don't own the good or hidden gems.
Vampire Survivors was $3 game when I purchased it in EA and now $5 as a full and hugely expanded release, but worth the purchase price of the bundle for that game alone, to me.

also and I don't know this for sure maybe some of the games will run out?

I really enjoyed GYLT when I played it on Stadia
And mental health is one of the most worst plagues of our time.

wow you bought a Stadia - I thought Stadia was like the Lock Ness Monster or the Yeti where it was only a rummer that you heard of someone who had seen one

Indeed. I was surprised how GOOD it was, technically speaking. Like I could play rhythm games, where lag can kill you, without any problem. It had it share of problems with owning your games and all. And I'm kind of glad it went away.

That's surprising. I had the opposite experience, it would lag very frequently for me, to the point that I would just close it up and cancelled it. I remember trying it again for Cyberpunk and it was just too laggy.
I'm glad it worked for you though. I didn't have a PC at the time and it would've been great to be able to play PC games through it. I turned to GEForce Now but that required owning the games instead of getting access to their library like Stadia did.

This. I could understand people critical of the day of the devs. But this one? Seriously?
Comment has been collapsed.
seriously though... a majority of the people on SG are here to get freebies so they will criticize $0.58 cents a game.. even if it's for charity. freaking get the bundle and do giveaways for the games your don't want.
