It's an interesting game. But since you're running away from a fleet of enemies you can't fully explore everything and have to somewhat rush to the boss. That creates a problem where if RNG wasn't kind to you the run is basically lost because you wont be able to beat the boss with shitty items.
I personally hate that part of the game and find it more frustrating then fun.

ACII is a masterpiece, but even ACIII can be considered better (not a masterpiece, though). ACIV is certainly better than ACII, but yeah.. OP should go with ACII.
