Splinter Cell is my favorite sneaker brand. And these are tough times to be a Splinter Cell fan. Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid fans have it rough.

At least we had a good run, didn't we? And I don't think any game series (or TV series, or novel series, or series of any kind really) is meant to run forever. I'm happy with what we had.

I've always worn Converse. No support to speak of, but I think they're comfy.

I get a new pair of black Converse every year. They're light and easy to wear while they still fit my fashion style. My bad feet aren't a fan though, but if I have to walk longer distances I wear better shoes.

I never have went for designer brands. You're paying for a name, and not necessarily something that will feel comfy, or support your foot. Some brands are better than others, obviously. I bought a lovely pair of lightweight runners/trainers from a high street store and my feet are in absolute heaven in them. I do go for shoes with good support because of my back, but they also have to look nice.
Also, So long as they are high enough quality that can survive some runs through the washing machine when they need it, I'm happy. XD.

Skechers are one love for me. I've got very capricious feet, one of them is slightly bigger, so most of the shoes a try on are really uncomfortable (sometimes to the degree that I actually need 2 pairs of different sizes), but somehow that's not the case with Sketchers. I've got 3 pairs of them (2 sneakers and 1 demi-season).

Actually, that's really common. Most people have one foot slightly bigger than the other, but rarely noticeable until you go for a shoe that's a half-size too small, and you notice it only hurts one foot. I have that issue too where 6 is too small and 7 is sometimes too big, so I go for 6.5 where I can.
You probably just need to look for more brands that have half sizes (lots of brands do) and size up by half a size in those brands. =)

I always try on many pairs by different brands, but somehow usually end up with Skechers :)

I have foot issues as well but don't really have brand loyalty because it seems like all brands change out models all the time. The few times I have managed to find a good pair, the next time I go back, I try all the models of the same brand and none are comfortable. SO... I now care about brands so much I had to go look... apparently mine are Merrell's. They are comfy but I wasn't too impressed with the quality... the heel tag loop thing ripped on one shoe within the first month of ownership. I have used New Balance, Nike, and Sketchers before as well. Don't think that much of those either but of the 3 I would probably go New Balance over the other 2.

I don't wear the brand, I wear the product.
So it really depends on what's affordable and feels right for me when I buy anything. I often end up purchasing some products from generic/less-known brands for that reason.

Something with steel toes. I had to go cover a guy for a week who worked in a brewery (computer tech). Work said they would be pay for steel toe shoes. I got a very nice pair that looks like a normal everyday shoe. I've been wearing them ever since. This was likely 10+ years ago. 😄
They have saved me from many stubbed toes over the years. And one time that may have saved me from an actual injury as something heavy dropped on my foot once that just bounced off the shoe.
Mine are pretty heavy compared to normal shoes. But I don't even notice it. They make ones now days out of other materials that are just as light as regular shoes.
The kicker...... When I got to the job site. The site had its own safety gear you could use for your feet for any visitors. I never needed the shoes. But I'm so glad work paid for them as I got a very good pair of shoes for free that I would buy again in a heartbeat.
I've been wearing this shoe every day for many years. Its still in good shape. 👍

The first one that doesn't immediately look like ass and has small enough sizes for my feet when my mom demands that I buy new shoes and forces me to get something or else she's not gonna leave me alone. Oh, and I guess she has to not hate them too...
Yeah, shopping for clothes and shoes is a time-wastey nightmare. <.<

That stopped mattering to me as soon as I had to start buying them myself.

I don't buy them by brand but by comfort and quality then looks. New balance does have good support - I've worn two pairs when the brand first came out, but overall my most bought is Nike because of various sports. There was a favourite pair I had that I wore normally for over a decade before the heels finally wore down too much and I had to get another. I don't have any particular attachment to any brand but just that it seems like they kept being the best picks out of whatever I was looking at.

So something completely different here (at least I hope). With the influx of brands we all have our favorites. The ones we wear the most, or we wear exclusively.
So, that being said, what's your favorite brand of sneakers?
I prefer New Balance. Mainly for the support as I've suffered two foot injuries in my life.
So what is/are your favorite(s)?
