Idea is: Give SteamGifts users a filter system to only show games being given away that meet the requirements the user has set for their filter. For instance, say I only wish to enter giveaways for games that have the tag 'Adventure' and 'LAN Co-op', it will then only show giveaways that meet that filters requirements. Another example would be only show games with the tag 'VR Only' or 'VR Supported'. These are not custom tags, but the ones Steam uses for all its games. Of course, it's completely optional and can be toggled on/off. Plus, it's not that it's pulling in data from your Steam account, it's just SteamGifts adding its own filter system using all the Steam tags that you can filter by on this site.

I'm hoping that SteamGifts has the capacity to simply utilise existing data from Steam it has on games that can be listed on this site. So it'd be the simple procedure of just using data from Steam that's already there.
If SteamGifts doesn't have that data (which is very plausable) then this idea probably wouldn't work because it would mean individually adding tags to each game you can list on this site. Which could be done, but there's no incentive to put so much manual labour behind a nice to have feature.

If it was possible for this feature to exist, you'd have to question what to do with games that have 'Steam is still learning about this game' on them. I would propose you have a checkbox in your filter like any other tag, on whether to include such games Steam doesn't have full information on.

If someone from SteamGifts confirms this wouldn't be possible without manually adding individual tags to each individual game, then I'll just lock this post as this suggestion could not be met.

I only have to ignore a few games every so often to keep on top of them. If you do this consistently, you don't need a special feature (that's never going to happen, let's be real about it), and if you're too lazy to do that, use ESGST.

Also, Steam Tags suck.

Closing: As suggested by veebles, just use 'ESGST' in the meantime.
