Added you. Wish astats was better nowadays, but it's still my go to website. I also use completitionist.me.

Added, yeah i still use it too, aside from the annoying page sometimes not loading, it's more unfortunate that not always (new) games get recognized too and some scoring is weird, that one game gets you 1 point per achievement and others much more while the one with 1 point are sometimes longer and harder to get.

Devil Daggers has just one hard achievement. It takes 500~ hours of active play to achieve on average. But it has no value on astats cause the website rates difficulty by comparing unlock rates between achievements of the same game.... but if there's only one achievement to begin with, it can't compare it to anything.

Yeah i just did "normal" games, and now when i am doing pixel puzzles jigsaw, they fill my top score achievement list very fast, most give a purple color score or even 2 orange while i am not even doing big 300-1800 pieces puzzles, but 90-120 pieces.
If you got most DLC from indiegala and are a jigsaw fanatic then you can rack up a very big score with it's 2900 achievements.

steamhunters.com and completionist.me are better, in my opinion as a self proclaimed achievement hunter. there's also https://www.playtracker.net/ for challenging friends with achievements
there's even metagamerscore.com and exophase.com for multi platform achievement/trophy tracking

nope, those two only track what's already on steam and the user's steam profiles. i guess they're not really for socializing, save for their associated discord communities and steam groups/chats
and yeah, no problem. just thought i'd mention the multi platform ones seeing as TrueSteamAchievements seems to be part of a network along TrueAchievements for Xbox and TrueTrophies for PlayStation.

Shame you can't just login with your steam account on playtracker, that might be one i could add but right now i am even like mweh i don't want to create a seperate login just to have a look. But people can always read your tip, perhaps i will look into it later.
Yeah while i do have an xbox and playstation 4 i have like 3 games on both, and they have been in a moving crate for over a year.
Why personally for me i am not really bothered by it, and with 12000 games on steam they take all my priority.
You used to have console exclusives, but not so much anymore these days, even with epic exclusives they eventually come to steam so why get them on consoles in the first place rather then just the 1 place you are already using (beside them also getting in bundles).

yup. what caught my attention about the OP was the part about 'racing against each other' since that's a big part of the deal with playtracker https://playtracker.net/quest/ . but i understand the wish to not sign up for yet another online service and having yet another login to worry about xd

I can swear I have had a mission to create Steam achievement website for the last 10 years :D
I don't know how to add manual so I just imported my list

Yeah gaming should be and stay fun, i wonder if you can have some sort of "game burn-out", and yeah some achievements can be annoying like play a game x times (once shouild be enough) or ridiculous speedrun ones. Not to mention some sites reward very easy to get achievements sometimes better then very hard ones to get (especially astats).
Hope you can maintain a good balance,

To track (and perhaps race against) eachothers achievements? I used to use astats.nl a lot but it has it's problems until someone pointed me towards this site.
https://truesteamachievements.com/myfriends.aspx
https://steamcommunity.com/id/lugum to add me.
In your profile, and then the friends (several people icon) you can find any invites from others.
There is also this for those interested:
https://playtracker.net/quest/ (you have to create an account with your email).
https://completionist.me/ (only achievements visible from other friends if they are a friend on your steam list already).
