The don't accept reports that include only game keys :(

I would not have traded anything of value to me.
No offense taken.

Point is I tried to get rid of an Origin key. There was a thread about "value" of games a few days back, someone pointed out that "desirability" was also a factor.
As mentioned above, I don't mind too much, just want to point other users in a direction. Hope thats not 'calling out'

I'm just trying to point out why it seemed fishy. There's huge difference in value of bundled to non-bundled games among traders and current sale value or live bundle status have very little influence on trade price, ie. games that go 75% off on sales retain this value even out of sales and once bundled games never go back to their pre-bundle value etc.
In this case I would've make sure that other side is well aware that it's not equal value deal and I wouldn't go first for obvious reason (you've just tried to lowball him/her otherwise).

It's not like you can get DS3 on Steam anyway. And Max Payne 3 sells for €3 during sales, so it's not that hot game (and keys were even cheaper on Nuuvem).
And DS3 bundle was old, you can't really find any key-sellers who sell it for $1 - even G2A has it for around €3-4.
If I'd want Dead Space 3 and had spare Max Payne 3, I wouldn't mind doing that deal.

Probably would be best if you had evidence to support your accusation of scamming, otherwise it's a he-said-she-said situation. Might get suspended anyway, but I figure if you can demonstrate your version of events is accurate, you're less likely to be penalized.

I sent screenshots to support (via user report), that are very clear in my opinion.

Sorry to hear you got diddled :(
Looking at the scammer's profile, at least he has been generous enough to create a couple of nice giveaways for the community by way of an apology.

here is some consolation info https://barter.vg/

Origin saved the day, could've been much worse indeed... as in an actual Steam key ^_^ :p
btw, is also guilty of fake GAs, it seems

never got scammed so far
found one or another ppl I believe I can trust quite a lot in the trading "business"
and it works really well :)
edit: its also nice when you trade again with a person you've traded before in the past
edit2: I would say that REP is a good safety indicator, because people don't want negative feedback on them.
Also, all trades are recorded on the "system" which is nice

Barter.vg is a trade "hook-up" site, sort of like the CS:GO/TF2 trade sites. You don't make deals at the site itself, you just find people you can trade with. Trading is still done on Steam chat/trade system and feedback is given mostly here on SG, so negative rep is impossible to remove, ever. It is also mostly seemed to be used to trade cheap bundle keys, like how SG is mostly used to give away cheap bundle keys. I hope this helps.

Might try it, thanks.
I am not really into trading, just stumbled onto his thread and thought "Great opportunity to get rid of an Origin key". At least I was successful in that :)

I like how he said you scammed him for a game that isn't even in your games list. It makes it look his feedback look so much more real.
Sorry to hear you got scammed.
I hope support will cut of his hands for stealing like they did in the old days.

Oh, well, You now have some trading experience of this kind too. :) The one time I was scammed, it was also an Origin Dead Space 3 key... :D These seem to be trouble... :D

I have no clue. I would link you a screenshot of the chat I had with him but you know... rules.

So I was just scammed for the first time.
I found someone who was looking for Farcry 4 and other AAA games but also for "Dead Space 3 for Origin". Great I though, got the key lying around for a very long time.
Because of timezones it took a day but the user added me and I made sure that he really wanted an Origin key. The trade was DS3 for Max Payne 3, I went first, because we both had 0 rep and I don't really care for Origin keys. He used the key, said it worked, sent his key, which was already activated :(, and - surprise said 'bye', unfriended and blocked me.
I am glad that I was first scammed for an Origin key :)
So now he has -1 rep, let's see if I receive one too and how fast support will deal with him. 'User report' - reason: 'other' - proof provided; I hope the screenshots are sufficient, if support reads this text and images should have a certain format, please say so
Shitty GA for a shitty scam.
Edit: What will happend to all scammers? Look and behold
Edit 2: Now I have -1 rep too... I wonder... Is this considered calling out? If so, I will remove it
Edit 3: Scammer perma banned, -rep removed, closing thread.
