I know this probably goes without saying and yes everyone has an equal chance of winning, But Just saying, If you own the game already, and it isn't even for a friend, don't try to win it again, let people who haven't played it before get a chance.

You have 7 days before anyone cares about that, add the 7 day to sync you have 2 weeks to win the same game a 2nd time.

I guess you could still be reported for winning the same game twice if anyone checked your profile...

First off it's against the rules to win games you already have and it's also against the rules to give away games you win.

Plus if your sg account is synced you won't be able to enter for games you already own. There are a few that still let you enter but those most of the time are GOTY version and the like.

Fallout New Vegas for example is still flawed. The Steam page is for the US version, while I've got the Eastern-EU pack. It's great, it works, but still steam acts like I don't own the game. Therefore I could join the hell out of any FO: NV giveaway.
Probably there are still similar problems with other games :\

Yeah same issue here, got the collectors edition on the cheap from...summer sale? Can't remember. But all the DLCs and the game still show up on the feed

I have the US version of FNV:UE, but it still shows up. It does b/c Steam puts it in the library as FNV only, but when you View DLC it shows you have it all.

It's the same thing with Skyrim. I already own legendary, but I still see giveaways for that version of it b/c Steam doesn't show the game as being legendary. It's just the base game with all of the DLCs.

I added both to my filter list so I dont see them anymore, but before I did I still regularly saw giveaways for both.

It can be wrong but as much as I know..! If you have a secret acc on steam the system can't sync and askes politely to do it yourself. I know a couple of guys who have this thing and no one knows how many games they've won! (Mostly they don't even make giveaways, only enter to win!)
