OP put a lot of playtime into his wins, 100%ing 2 of them. And only won 6 games in 4 years, not exactly greedy. Goes to make a giveaway to see what the other side is and gets confused by our credit system. The fallout: blacklists and harsh comments in response to his forum post. Feels uncalled for.

If they had asked for help, they'd have gotten help. But instead they felt it necessary to Karen it up and also explicitly state that they're not interested in explanations. Hard to commiserate with.

Yeah, the discovery that not every giveaway creates CV resulting in a public announcement that this tragic experience immediately made them abandon the idea of ever creating any giveaway is clearly the expression of innocent confusion.

You're twisting things very hard to defend OP. He's entitled. It's as simple as that. He won 6 games, gave 0. He then got a game for free, and tried to give it away. He found out he couldn't profit off of that, and he came here to throw a tantrum. How is people not liking that "uncalled for"? Should they be throwing him a party? Filling his inbox with free Steam keys?

I might be overlooking too much here like hbarkas says. I think seeing him play 4 wins really colors my opinion perhaps too much.

Such measures should be reserved for more "illustrious" personalities. To put it bluntly OP's actions don't warrant a place on a blacklist and we should give him the benefit of the doubt and a second chance.

If OP was posting that he was confused about something, then people would be trying to help clear up the confusion. But that's not what happened. OP posted that they got a single free key from somewhere else, and wanted to profit off it by creating a GA here. Then when he couldn't profit off it, he decided he would never create a new GA here ever again. And if that wasn't bad enough, he immediately, before anybody could make any comments to explain why it was set up that way, posted a comment telling people not to bother "white knighting" for the site. So people aren't just adding him to their BL for "confusion". They are adding him to their BL because of the entitlement and the hostility towards everybody before anybody could even respond.
