You can shout into the void all you like. Any game that was given away in a free steam key promotion at any time in the past is going to have 0CV. There is a lot of games like this. I have even given a bunch of them away. I didn't get them for free, but still got 0CV for them because they were free at some point in the past. We accept this here because it prevents people abusing the CV system by making multiple accounts on other sites to farm free keys to give away here in exchange for CV. No one wants that. People can just get the game while it's free for themselves.
Don't like it? Then you are free to give your keys away somewhere else. That's the beauty of this being a free world.

I want that. I don't have time to visit thousands of free giveaway sites to get keys. Better to let other people do that for me and I give them CV in return!

Yeah, and that would make the CV system completely pointless and cheap. A lot of them are unbundled trash/fake games that would ordinarily give 50 CV. People here wouldn't be happy with that since some do give away expensive unbundled games.
Like, I don't care that much about CV personally. There's no real benefit to being level 10. I just give away keys I don't want. And on occasion, I have bought a mystery bundle purely to give away because I wanted to do something nice. Generally though, it's just me gifting away bundle leftovers.
The chance you have of winning them is tiny anyway. If you really want a game, just go and get it yourself. The dodgy sites are pointless because the games are usually soon-to-be-banned rubbish. I don't bother with any free games unless they're on EPIC, Fanatical, Steam, GOG, or from my Prime sub.

You are correct in the theory but because a lot of the freebies aren't listed as free on sg, it give users that create 30 bot accounts on each freebie site to give this stuff here away.
The one from the screenshot was a lvl 8 user and by far not all his gifted games are in the correct (= free) category but his actual stats (the amount of GAs listed as free) should be shocking enough anyway.
I assume he got perma suspended because of multiaccounting.

If Steam keys for a game have ever been given away in a free promotion somewhere, they do not provide any CV here from the date they were available for free. This is to prevent people from hoarding free keys and giving them away here to cheat the CV system.
Also, if a game is on sale for around 95% off, it will be put on the reduced CV list here and will give 15% of the full value.
These CV adjustments are applied to any giveaways that are created on or after the date of the sale or free promotion. Anyone who created a giveaway before that date will keep their CV. Also, it may take some time before support updates the CV for a particular game, so if you get a game for really cheap or free somewhere and create a giveaway while it still shows as full value here, you will only get that full CV temporarily until support back dates the CV for that game to the date of the promotion. Then, since you giveaway started on or after the date of the promotion, your CV will automatically be adjusted down to the correct value.
It is explained in the Frequently Asked Questions under the "Contributor Value and Levels" section. There's lots of other good info there as well that explains how almost everything on the site works.

The site is named steamGIFTS for a reason. Gifting back to the community that gifted you 6 games even if there is no credit should feel nice! Try it and see and you may find you actually like giving. :)
