Just wait, during winter sale Ubisoft games were at 50% max, but they increased it to 75% during like 2-3 days, I can tell you because I was dispointed for not being able to get Far Cry 3 at 75% and then this happened. It seems like Ubisoft just doesnt want to give low prices for a long period of time.

lol
I think this time the sales were organized by the woodworkers' guild. So many tables to fix they'll make a fortune.

The only good deal I managed to see so far was Age of Empires 2 HD. It was dirty cheap. And I think now's the right time to grab any of the Skyrim DLCs incase somebody still hasn't bought them.

They added the Skyrim DLC bundle some time ago when they announced the new edition.
It should be cheaper than buying the DLCs one by one, but I can't load the store to give a link.

I am sure there used to be one some weeks ago. Maybe it's this one (I can't load the link)?

It's not the LE. It's a bundle. A friend just bought it for 11 euro. He owns the game and the cheapest DLC. If this was the LE editon he would have payed more for content he already owns.

Yup. That one's good.

It's not Steam that sets the prices. It's the devs.

No its Gaben's fault for allowing such awful sales on the store.

It has never been on sale before. Most games that have never been on sale before usually don't go on 80% off sales. Most people didn't think it would even BE on sale. Really people?

Dishonored Definitive is only 40% off. I was thinking it would probably be 75% off. But 40... Really Bethesda?

Same here! Really dissapointed, I'm waiting for a decent sale for this since more than a year...

The GOTY edition was $30. They changed the name to Definitive then dropped the price to $20 after their e3 conference.

the usual, midweek/weekend sales are better now than big sales, garbage games got low discounts either, better to buy those in bundles even if you miss only 1 game from that bundle:-p Fallout 4 30eur, recently it was a physical copy in a big store here for 20eur:-D a physical copy which activable on steam!:-D digital download which dont have packing, delivery, warehousing costs might have other very high costs, thats why more expensive:-D

Older Ass Creed games at 50% only, thanks Ubi. No 75% love xD

Looks like the rumours about Valve raising its cut were true, and publishers probably also just try to bank on the whole "Steam sale" hype.
Well, not that I care, as I already spent my money on the GOG summer sale. Haven't seen a half-decent deal on Steam itself since the winter sale of 2014, and even then indie/casual games got nice cuts. And on GOG, I just got a free Dreamfall Chapters complete edition for buying some stuff on 70-80% sale there, including a few goodies like Banner Saga.
Still, free event cards, so I guess I'll level up again some on Steam. My purchase history is 98% card purchases in the past 18 months anyway as I get my games either in bundles or from authorised legit retailers. :D

I assume around 30% as well. That is pretty much a standard. The question is how high can it go and how discounts influence it.
They may get a little smaller percentage to convince publishers to put up DRM-free stuff on their store, but I would be generally surprised if they could be in business and even growing/adding new things to their service if they didn't have the usual fees.
