Hello my friends, i might be stupid or something, but i don't understand why my CV isn't going up? I've given away games worth of over 50$ but my CV is still 30 even though it was the same before my last giveaway. Please enlighten me great people of steamgifts!

Hi,
you have Awaiting Feedback (1), so guy which won must confirm adopt game from you.

They are all bundle games and CV from them is capped at $30. See this thread

But if it's capped at 30$ why did i only get like 10$?

Cause you had 20$ before?

Total Value = Non-Bundle Value + min(Bundle Value, Non-Bundle Value * 0.2)

First $25, bundle or not, doesn't matter. So, 25 + (25*.2) = 30

-Edit-
Also, think of the bundle games, after $25, as a 'banked' amount. You do get CV for them, but you only see it when you offer non-bundled games too.

I sugggested Support that add a bar that shows you "You will earn XX amount of contribution from this giveaway" to giveaway creation page they said it isn't neccessary :@

The problem with this is that if they have other concurrent giveaways which haven't ended yet, or ones that the winners haven't marked as received, the system may have difficulty accurately displaying the contribution for the giveaway in question.

Another idea might be to see a helpful popup which displays when certain words or phrases appear in a new thread post, offering users a stock answer to the question suggested by their keywords, with an "is this what you were looking for" type dialog box to confirm whether they still want to go ahead and start the thread anyway.

So many new threads on here are minor variations on exactly the same question. Can I give away DOTA 2? (mercifully this one has been consigned to history). I've given away x, but my contribution hasn't gone up. What gives? Can I give away Origin games on here?

Here's another alternative solution...

Both ideas could be helpful IMO.

Personally I'm favouring the monster search box. I'm certain it would be a little easier to program...
