I have $3 on my Microsoft account received via the Microsoft Rewards program. I wanted to get the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 2 months for $2 offer. But even though I have more than the amount required in my account, they are asking me to provide a credit/debit card. But I don't own a credit/debit card. Is there any way to bypass this credit/debit card requirement?

It's a subscription just like if you take a free month of Netflix etc, they want the card info so they can bill you for more months later.

I get that. What I wanted to know is if there's any way I can do that without providing card info.

Unfortunately, the thing is, you cannot purchase Xbox Game Pass with Microsoft Account currency.

To my knowledge you need to have a card on file like most subscription based services.
