Well you better off knowing it rather than avoiding it all along. Just go for a checkup, don't delay if you suspect if there's anything wrong with your body.

^^^ This.
If there's a problem, knowing about it earlier will give you a good chance of dealing with it. Finding out about it later will probably mean you have months to live. For now, you have no idea what's going on with you. It's probably something minor like your kidneys not getting enough water. Just go to the doctor and get checked out so that you're not guessing and worrying about what you might have. (The worry itself can increase the risk of cancer.)

my reason might not be the most legitimate but it's understandable...it's plain embarrassing. I just have to stop being a wuss and somehow soldier up.

Get checked, many cancers if not caught early are super deadly, and they all are if you never catch them....

What's embarrassing about getting cancer? It's not something people would make fun off. This is about living and surviving.

Get your ass to the doctor or you're going on the blacklist that I don't have.

It's kinda ironic that my university has the biggest medical center in the state...I'm practically feet away from a hospital everyday and still have not had my ass checked.

As of now the world is very toxic due to many things, chemicals, radiation, bad food, bad air, etc...
Always good to check up on your health, go see, put your mind at ease.

Sameeee \o/ I've been pooping blood for the past 2 months. Finally told my mom scheduling to see a doc next week

I had pain in my lower parts for years and peed blood from time to time and didn't went to a doctor too because I thought it would clear up someday for itself...like: "its just a little pain...your not one of the guys who runs for the doctors everytime...just suck it up"
At one point it has gotten to much and I went to the doctor and it turned out to be just a kidney stone, but at that time already a large kidney stone and just barely not too big to be broken apart by sonic waves instead of an operation where they cut into you and take it out.
Since then I feel fine now, but if I had went for the doctors earlier i would have spared me some (years of) pain.
But to be honest I haven't learned anything from that experience and I probably will be as stubborn again as I was :D

It wasn't much blood, just a bit at the beginning and only sometimes when I've just come home and had walked much that day. (the kidney stone probably was rubbing against the kidney wall)
And the next pee after that it was fine/clear again and no pain during peeing.

I've also been having similar symptoms (minus the blood thankfully) for almost a couple months now. I've been to the doctor a couple times in that period and they've tested for everything they can without doing a colonoscopy. I'm looking at doing one through the Colonoscopy Assist program since it's significantly cheaper for someone without insurance (i.e., me).
I searched around and people seemed to have good things to say about it so hopefully it's a good program. Just wanted to share the info since you mentioned money being an issue. $950 is definitely still expensive but it's better than the 2-10k (?!?!) I was seeing other people talk about. And they have payment plans available too if you can't do the whole thing at once.
Also, just for comparison's sake the first visit where I just got some antibiotics was about $40 + $3.99 for the meds. The second visit with a blood panel, stool culture, and parasite testing was like $260.
And TB is right, taking stool samples at home is a really weird experience. Unless you're used to pooping on things other than toilets I guess, haha. You're scooping up bits of poop with spoons attached to the caps of vials that contain different chemicals, closing and then shaking them vigorously, then labeling each one. I kept thinking, "I AM A POOPOLOGIST!" and laughing.

Well if it's just pain, then there are many different things it can be. I would go for a check up sooner rather than later though. It's nothing to be embarrassed about because it's just a part of life. Whenever you do get the courage to go get yourself checked out, let us know :) Take care man!

actually, there never was pain...more like constipation discomfort. Most of the time the blood is bright so I assume there's no serious internal bleeding in the colon, probably just a tearing somewhere close to the...outing.
And I actually have not been hydrated as I should be, only 1/2-3/4 of the recommended amount )8 cups) a day

Get it checked out. Could just be internal hemorrhoids, but if you're getting a fistula, or if you have a cancerous polyp, that needs to be sorted out.
The first checkup will just be a simple dildo-like probe up your ass while you're awake. Nothing too bad about that.

It sounds like dehydration to me. Probably you are not hydrated enough for a long time, so the body automatically absorbs back the water in the feces/stool, makes it harden and thus cause a high pressure and a scratch near the anus. Due to the location of the scratch, it is really hard to heal completely, instead it becomes a scar and just starts bleeding whenever the body get dehydrated again. If you don't drink water properly, this scar may get infected and/or turn into serious hemorrhoids or rectal prolapse, or even cancer. Check it up at your university hospital.
However, remember that "Up to half of people may experience problems with hemorrhoids at some point in their life. Outcomes are usually good". So be optimistic about it ;)

Also - this topic is also highly taboo, as with everything related to "things down under" - enemas help.
Really, they do.
There's nothing to be ashamed of by buying an enema kit and giving yourself an enema when your poop is rock-hard and just refuses to come out.

If you are bleeding while defecating (as in, blood drips into the bowl) you likely have an anal fissure, they are fairly common and not serious although they can take a long time to heal.
If there is actually blood inside of your stool (you may need to break it up to see), this is a very serious problem indicative of internal bleeding and should be medically assessed by a doctor immediately.

I think I might suffer the same symptoms.
Fuck.
...
It started 2 years ago when I was under a lot of stress due to various issues. To this day I still consider it the most stressful period of my life. The "symptoms" appeared but it did not stay long, went away after a month or two after I ate more green and fiber.
Then it showed up again lately, for the last 2-3 months. Actually, it was on and off with no clear pattern at all so I had assumed it was just stress during strenuous time.
For someone who still has to live with his parent's money and 1 year away from graduating from college, my finance is not always looking good...I have thought about getting a checkup but the idea of spending shitload of money (I'm living in the states) scared me shitless.
So yeah..just want you to know...his video means sth...kinda raised awareness.
Maybe one day I will have the guts to go to the doctor...'till then, I will eat more green and fiber.
