I'm not applying, just wanted to mention that CV/ratio is not the only thing Dollar bundles can be used for: I've once given away three of them to farm GA slots for a train (and got on several BLs in the process). As for your third question: does temporary antidepressant effect of escapism count? Can't think of anything positive aside from that (except for the considerable help with learning English, of course, but that was long ago).

I was lucky enough to win Silence on this site! Hope you don't mind if I still apply if only for the WL?
I wasn't really the most talkative person when I first got into gaming. Not for lack of trying, I just never had much I wanted to talk about. Games gave me something I actually cared for, and discussing, or arguing about game stories and characters gave me something that brought me closer to others, and gave me a little confidence to talk to new people.

I've been playing games since I was like 3 or 4. I remember the first system I played on was pong that my mom got from her cousins. Before she got herself an atari 2600 which I eventually confiscated and used till I until the nintendo came out. So for me I think games have been as much a part of my life as anything else has. I can't imagine a world without them and I showed my kids the same thing and strive to show them the old systems that came long before them as well. Just because it's old and the graphics and music is not what new games are like now doesn't mean that there wasn't a great deal of awesome gems from last 40 years.

I am playing games with PS4 and steam, mainly playing RPG (JRPG) in Ps 4 and SG winning game in steam
I am a mild game poisoning, I want to play games rather than playing with my friends in my spare time :)
Thank you for starting this thread, Arcsurvivor, my friends also exist, their comments are interesting ^^

Reaching the 30s and I've been playing games since 6years old.
Games(and cartoons) helped me understand better english (speaking/listening/reading)
Games were conversation topics so I got friends with the same taste/interest.
(just a few examples)
Nowadays, with jobs and responsibilities, and distances, playing games with my oldest friends are a routine and a way to be in contact like old times.
If well used/understood/moderated, games can be very educational and social friendly.

I play games to have fun, pass the time. go on a digital adventure of discovery and exploration. has it made a positive impact in my life? yes and no. yes because they're fun to play, no doubt. no because it takes up precious time for other (more important?) things. who am I kidding? the yes outweighs the no!!!

I play games because they are fun.
I can't really say they had any huge impact on my life. Maybe they steered me towards the programming career, but I didn't join the CS school, just because I liked games, unlike some of my school mates at that time.

Hello Everyone,
I want to expand my WL. I occasionally do GAs for contributors/ active users (not bots) on this website. To be considered, look at following criteria.
I expect to add 70-100 people by end of this drive (3-4 weeks).
Active on forums within last 6 months/recently done giveaways.
Not rely on Dollar bundles to increase SG level. (Specifics- Using $1 bundle >4 times) not leeching (Around 1/1 Ratio). If you have 1.5, ratio I will most likely still add you.
Describe how playing games has made a positive impact on your life. Please just explain your thoughts. Your response already proves you are not a bot.
3b. For example, some ideas are improving reflexes, spend time/co-op with family/friends, etc.
Note: If you are close to meeting above points, I will take a closer look at profile. Double check that profile is not private.
Happy Gaming!
Edit: Silence GA is live. I will keep open for another week to give other people a chance to respond.
Removed happy/time waste reason.
