That's a phrase commonly used around here to refer to individual good deals in a given steam sale that aren't publicized very heavily. For example, say a little-known game that has very positive reviews is 85% percent off right now, but it's not featured on the front page, so you wouldn't know about it unless you were looking for it.

MechaNika is about three bucks right now, and it's probably one of my favorite games of all time; I just grabbed it during this sale. I didn't think much from the art style, besides it being "cute", but within the first two minutes that drastically changed.
