I'm just asking a normal question.. what's the problem here??

Are there still things like towns? and radiation? Still that "raid" feel?

It's worth to try if you own it already.
The homes are pretty much unraidable at the moment but there are airdrops, rad towns/houses(with loot) and radiation.
I enjoyed the last time I played. But now my better mic is broken so I don't feel like playing in a while... (Ask away if you got any other questions)
New things? Graphics:D maybe some weapon variety and guns are not as common... BP barrels, you can upgrade walls and you can see the "health" of the wall.

how is the building now? i'm gonna give the game another shot in a few minutes though. Is there already a map of the area somewhere online?

That's pretty cool actually. I started playing but I'm kinda dissapointed up til now, i found no animals AT ALL after running around for over an hour and it feels really experimental even though it has been in development for quite some time now

I hope so too, and the game runs really bad right now, my pc should be able to handle it easily, it's a monster pc but it just runs bad. also server lag :S

Animals have also been TP'ing around for the most part for me (looking at you, deer >_>).
They either stand still and don't react or just glitch away.

I like the building more in this version. You get a lot of wood, but it actually doesn't turn out to be much until you grind down 10+ trees. Even then it goes quickly, but you can build more diverse things. There's also a stability system where if your house is too unstable it'll basically fall apart in the unstable parts.

Yeah indeed, the amounts are way higher in everything. And I didn´t know about the stability thing! Do houses still break down if you don´t log in every day? Do they slowly lose health?

Hi guys, So I was a huge fan of the old Rust. The feel you got when you were walking around the map with friends, carrying goods from one place to another, seeing players check you out and make a decision about whether it was worth it to attack you or not, running for airdrops, collecting stuff to build a bigger house, making tons of weapons and just feeling like a complete badass.
Then the russian hackers came and ruined the game for me.
Then the developers pulled the plug on the old version and started again. I lost all interest in the game at that point...Only played 1 time on the new Rust like a month ago for 15 minutes and it felt so different and weird..
My question now is, Is it worth trying it again? I REALLY feel like playing a game like rust again and well, I might as well try out the new Rust right? Are any of the old gameplay elements still present? Any cool new things?
Feel free to drop your stories here and give your opinion :)
