The Division 2, for someone who's gonna play mostly solo/with random people, is a good buy?
I had fun with the beta and they implemented consistent improvements over the first one, namely a slightly better loot system, more meaningful exploration and crafting, tweaks to the skills and more complex side missions. I don't know - of course - what the final game will be like, but the beta showed overall a taste of what the game has to offer and i think it's worth to give it a shot. It's totally playable with random people and obviously it plays best with a team, especially considering that levels are made with teamwork in mind and now it's easier to assist partners with support skills (the armor drone is a blast on this regard).
You can get a 20% discount on the preorder if you spend 100 Uplay coins, so that's also a nice bonus.

Hahaha
Well I'm not at war with Epic Games Store as a lot of people seem to be, but in this case, if the game was on Steam I would simply buy it because of their refund politcs. As of right now Epic Store doesn't even sell the games in my currency, only dollars. If I do buy would be in the Uplay store.

The Division is better with friends in my opinion. Playing solo tends to be a bit bland & really lets the grindiness & bullet-sponginess shine through. Playing with randoms would probably be OK though. That said, The Division 2 could be somehow better in this aspect possibly, or you just might like the style of the game either way. I would recommend Watch_Dogs 2 as it also has a really fun multiplayer & was just a lot more fun than Watch_Dogs 1. Far Cry Primal doesn't look like it has nearly as much stuff to do in it as Watch_Dogs 2.

Personally, if you've played the first The Division game completely solo and liked it (like I did), I think you might enjoy the sequel as well. They changed the game quite a bit but the game still feels rather familiar, overall. Note that I've only managed to put in 4 hours of playtime during its private beta so there were a lot of stuff I didn't manage to get to, but if you're interested, I've compiled a list of the good, bad and mehs here. It's not much but it might be helpful to you.
Although I'm quite psyched for The Division 2, I'll probably wait for the price to drop low enough for it to be affordable for me though.
And as for the free game, I would go with Watch Dogs 2, especially if you've enjoyed the first game. I don't know about you but I think Far Cry doesn't really feel like a "Far Cry" without guns :P

I only played like half an hour of the first Division, my PC at the time was really crappy and it would run at the lowest setting @ 30 fps with drops.
It seemed really fun but with a better computer which thankfully now I have. But it's good to know that was enjoyable and I'll definitely read your review, thanks ^^
As for the free game, I am a little bit more inclined to get Dogs but my curiosity with Primal is exactly the lack of guns, hahaha

I enjoyed the beta of Division 2 and I think it's definitely worth while especially if you liked the first one. They've actually listened to feedback and made a lot of changes so hopefully the end product is going to be good.
I'd personally choose Far Cry Primal over Watch Dogs 2. I own both on PS4 and frankly I think they dropped the ball for WD2.

Its more of the same.If you like the division you will like the second part two. For me its worth it even solo and i am not a big fan of ubisoft games. I play division 1 for the most part alone and its great fun.
About the extra game i would choose watch dogs 2 as its better than the first one and feels much more alive than far cry primal. I think its a good deal.

It's somehow worse than the first one. Ubi just adds random s**t that blocks progression and slows down gameplay, you require to farm a lot to progress. I enjoyed those random events and repetitive tasks when I was 18, but now I don't have time to do the exact same mission 20 times or collect random stuff from the "huge" map to progress my game further.

I have enjoyed the division 1 a lot, really and I'd say YAY, however I don't want to spend that kind of money right now... and for what? what will happen when the "gold edition" comes out? Will I have a group of people playing it?
I mean, it's tempting but, personally, if I think coldly, it's not the right time.

Hi, I played in Division 1 and I don't have any troubles with playing random people. I don't know how it will be in D2 but for D1 it was true to play solo and you was able to turn on online mod that allow players to play together. You play in your game and find other people who do it too. So you was able to play together or continue solo-game that meant other people just dissconnected from your sessions. Campaign was cross-session without download screens.

I'm enjoying playing D1 with a firend these days and have considered getting D2 eventually, after trying the beta and seeing it's more of 1 but more tight and polished, but honestly not at the current price (you may live in a country where the price is not an issue, in that case if you liked 1 go for it).

Kind of wish I was your friend right now would take the doubt out of mind, lol
jokes aside, that's nice to hear. I'm really starting to consider. This game has a lot more people interested than I thought, to be honest thought most people would answer saying no here

Sounds like a good friendship :))
Yeah, I found out only after I public this topic about the open beta (honestly until I received the Ubi email this game was completely off my radar) so I'll definitely try it out. I've also managed to convince my brother to try though I'm not 100% sure his PC will be able to give the smooth experience than shooting games need.

I enjoyed playing Division 1 solo(leveling) and for endgame was grouping up with randoms for the most of it.
Division 2 is more of the same and if you want to try it out before buying, there will be Open Beta 1st-4th March(if its anything like closed beta it will give you a couple of hours of content without much repetition. I suspect the game will be just fine to play solo until you hit Max Level/End game where if you feel it, you can join randoms and grind stuff.
As far as free game, go with Watch_Dogs 2

So I'm looking for an online fun game to play. I intended to ge tAnthem but I'm hearing a lot of bad things plus it's really expensive. Now I received an email from Ubisoft letting me know that by buying The Division 2 I get another game for free, specifically, either Farcry Primal or Watch_Dogs 2 (WIldlands too but I already have it) and both of those games are in my to play list. Add that to the fact that Division 2 is not as expensive as Anthem, I interested.
So for the people that play the first one and/or those that are following the news of The Division 2. You think is a good buy? Do you think the game will be fun, especially for someone whos probably ended up playing alone or with randoms?
And for the free game, Primal or Watch_Dogs 2? I like the Far Cry franchise and enjoyed the first dogs, so not sure which one to get.
