Requires Steam account for game activation and online play.

So yeah it is steamworks. Yes you should save money for the summer sale :)

Also The Darkness II is said to have ~6h gameplay ... I have 27h in Dead Island (2 player co-op) and didn't even finish the game.

Dead Island boring if playing alone. But good when playing coop.

Darkness has some realy nice gameplay but the game is rather short nevertheless I still recommend it.
