I don't think there is a "usually"...it all depends on how good the sales are. I'm not easily lulled in by the sparkles and shine of a sale. I have my wishlist, I have my target prices (which are absurdly low), and I stick to them pretty tightly. I typically set the value of "bundle" type games that I'm at least optimistic about at around $0.25, other indie or smaller games I want at about $1.00, and even the best AAA games that I know I'll love at about $5.00. Yeah, that means I never get anything before it's aged a bit and hits a huge sale or gets tossed into a "complete pack" or something at a huge discount, but I'm fine with that - my backlog will never die. There have been amazing sales where I have spent $100+ following my rules and gotten a ton of great stuff, and there have been entire seasons where I don't spend more than $5 on a handful of bundles.

Well I have £15 to spend, so that means I fall into the rich option... Which is definitely not true in the slightest... Normally I tend to spend that amount since... I'm not rich... xD

Depends on the game, the most I spent, was like $40, on a game a really wanted (and paid to get access to the beta).
I don't usually pay over $5

Summer Sale I spent around 60-70EUR, I won't spent that much on Autumn, will buy more during Winter Sales :>

Although, I guess it depends on if you count wallet from cards... in which case, I'm much poorer.

I am pleased to discover that I am rich and I shall be purchasing a yacht forthwith.

I've found my personal formula, works pretty fine and i am more than pleased with the results :D Every time Steam does major sales i add 20 Euros in my wallet and spend them on wishlisted game with great price discount.

Although this time, i'm more like spending 10 ...
