Look at those numbers ... it's only a rivalry in the minds of waffles-lovers.

Pankcakes. No butter. No syrup. No forks.

Waffles all the way. Plus they have holes in them specifically to hold syrup. Take that pancake.

Both are bad, so I stick with crêpes.

Crepes, can be filled with cottage cheese, various creams, jams, cocoa powder, chocolate, whipped cream, or even stew and then cooked in the oven ; simple, but varied delicious ways to present it.
Waffles and american pancakes are kind of meh for me compared to crepes :)
