Hi. Ok the whole IndieGala bundle thing is seriously throwing me off. When is the best time to buy? 1st week or Happy Hour (If they run it)? Do I need to tick gift on my first purchase if I buy in the first week? Sorry I know this is probably quite a redundant question but their wording is really bad. Thanks

If you want the most from your bucks, the best way is to buy early (first week) at least the BTA (beat the average) bundle for yourself, and then, if they run a "Happy Hour", buy one as a gift. That's when you'll get the extra bundles as a gifts for free.

Ok thanks for the info. Basically yeah best bang for bucks is preferred. So whatever is the best deal. :)

Prices usually drop during the happy hours though so if you don't care for extras, that's probably the best time to buy it.

Yeah don't really want to have to buy another BTA bundle tbh. One is enough at the cheapest possible I can get. I don't even want the other games. All I want is the 3 eXceed ones. :)

But it says they don't always do Happy Hour so that's why I am not sure.

Best time to buy is late in the first week to qualify for Happy Hour. Normal prices in a good bundle always seem to start around $6.50, then drop down over time to around $5.80.

Then make your Happy Hour purchase towards the end of the deal. Early Happy Hours sometimes are between $7-9, then come down in subsequent Happy Hours to $6.

The other choice is to go with a group buy and get the bundle for around 1.50$.

Well, you have already been answered, so all I can say is, go for it.
I only got on that train last IG bundle, but it works very well and the guys are great.

Join Group Buys. There is a discussion Called IndieGala orders and You just post your Steam name and some info that is listed at the top of the thread. When Happy hour comes up you'll be contacted (or you'll contact one of the hosts) and you send the money via paypal and they send you the gift link via email. Not as hard as it may sound and it only cost about 1.50$. Might also be able to pay with a TF2 key if that's easier for you.

The guys are very trustworthy. I've bought 2 or 3 bundles (got 2x June Gala) like this and never had a problem. I'd say there were about 100 people who group bought last time and I didn't see any complaints about anyone getting scammed. I guess there is a little bit of trust involved cause you have to send your 1.50$ first but I haven't seen anything shady with these group buys yet. Definitely recommend getting the indiegalas this way.
